Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Pipeline (“Pipeline,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Pipeline Careers, LLC. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have about it.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: your name and email address, collected via Clerk, our authentication provider, when you sign up.
• Resume content: the resume file you upload, plus the parsed and optimized versions of it. This can include your work history, education, and contact details.
• Search criteria: the job titles, companies, compensation range, locations, and preferences you share with us during the guided interview.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
• Primary Champion data: for each opportunity we identify, we research a real hiring contact at that company (name, title, company, and public professional profile link). This is personal information about someone who has no relationship with Pipeline and has not agreed to anything with us — see Section 7 for how we handle it specifically.
• Company research:firmographic, funding, and job-listing information about companies in your search. This isn't personal information about an individual, and we may reuse it across different users' reports.
• Feedback:your response to the one-tap “was this report helpful?” prompt, and, if you cancel a subscription, the reason you select.

3. How we use your information

We use this information for one purpose: to generate and deliver your job-search campaign — researching opportunities, identifying a contact, drafting outreach for your own review, and billing your subscription. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We work with the following service providers to run Pipeline. Each only receives the specific data it needs to do its job:

• Clerk — authentication and account management
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing
• Supabase — database and file storage
• Anthropic — processes your resume, search criteria, and company research to generate your report
• TheirStack — job listing data
• Resend — sends transactional emails (report-ready notices, billing issues)
• Vercel — hosts the application

We do not otherwise sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

5. How long we keep your information

• Account, resume, search-criteria, and feedback data: for the life of your account, deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request.
• Primary Champion data: retained only as part of your specific report, never in a shared database, for as long as your account/report exists.
• Company research: may be retained and reused across different users' reports, since it isn't personal information about an individual.
• Payment data: governed entirely by Stripe's own retention policy — we never store it ourselves.

We may retain minimal billing records longer than 30 days where required for accounting or tax purposes.

6. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:

• See what personal information we have about you
• Export a copy of it
• Delete your account and associated data

Email privacy@pipelinecareers.ai to make any of these requests. We'll complete verified requests within 30 days.

7. If you're a Primary Champion named in someone's report

If we've identified you as a contact in one of our users' reports and you'd like your information removed, email privacy@pipelinecareers.ai. We'll honor that request within the same 30-day window.

8. Security

We encrypt your data at rest and in transit, and we limit internal access to what each part of Pipeline actually needs to function.

9. Children's privacy

Pipeline is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We'll update the effective date above if this policy changes, and post the updated version here.
